Here's an article on CNN about Michael Brown, the Bush appointed head of FEMA, saying how the victims in New Orleans bear responsibility for their situation:

"I don't make judgments about why people chose not to leave but, you know, there was a mandatory evacuation of New Orleans."

His attitude and tone in that are nothing short of disgusting. It's not like all of these people had the means to leave the city.
