Speaking of overblown press release headlines

Emily Lakdawalla notes that anything having to do with Mars exploration has to punch up the word "life". One result is that people keep asking me about this or that space probe that just discovered life on Mars.

Somehow, i have the feeling that Creationists will tie any life on Mars to their wagon of deceit. Or maybe i'm just on crack today.

As does anything having to do with water away from Earth (or, I guess, the Moon). Most recently, life on Enceladus. You didn't know there was life on Enceladus? You must not be reading the papers.
