Things for you

In lieu of actually writing anything, I will cut and paste.

If my parents had bought me that Forth book, I'd probably be an Internet millionaire by now.

I actually wish I'd learned a language other than BASIC when I was a kid, as I only moved on to machine language when I was about 12 and to C when I was 15. Since I grew up on an Atari, Forth would have been the logical choice for good mind-expanding fun. But not only did I miss out on that, but I missed out on that book, which no doubt taught some intense Dungeons and Dragons variant of Forth in its pages.

The female Forth programmer's top must make use of anti-gravity for support.

I guess it's a postfix bra.

Wahn wahn waaa...

And what the hell is up with the guy wearing a protective helmut and gloves when he's otherwise half-naked? It's almost as if they're supposed to prevent some sort of contamination from the giant FORTH monolith.

Also, if the Village People had an astronaut character, I'm pretty sure it'd be that guy.

I thought his outfit went well with [livejournal.com profile] sanspoof's post on Zardoz.
