Up from the depths of Sector XIV of the Myers-Briggs-Nolan-Pournelle-Gygax Continuum

[livejournal.com profile] pnh, who usually posts elsewhere, makes a rare LJ post about the dangers of taking the "which presidential candidate do you match?" quiz too seriously. It's worth reading and matches my own feelings pretty closely, though you may have to adjust for your own political alignment.

I'm not sure that it really matters whether you take a quiz seriously or if you just go with your gut or if you just pick a candidate based on a couple of issues. To make a truly informed decision requires a lot of homework, and at the end of the day, what happens if you don't end up supporting a frontrunner? You're told you're "wasting your vote." Fuck that noise.
