TMBG are truly connected to many things. Someone who knows more than me could probably draw an intertwined TMBG / Space Ghost / This American Life / Homstar Runner conspiracy-gram.

My favorite bits in the music video are where Strong Sad tries to shoo everyone away from his black and white film world.

Now if Homestar Runner were to be on Space Ghost, *then* we would really have something. He could appear in normal animation, puppet, anime, or The Cheat form...or perhaps in all four of his incarnations!

According to the TMBG newsletter/mailing list thingie, They also did the music featured in Strongbad's email #99, "Different Town," which I report even though I suspect everybody knows this.

The part I love about Strongsad's film is that the last act is a psychotic remix of everything up to that point. YEAH! Don't miss the title bar, which sets the stage for the film.

This isn't the first collaboration with pop pros that Homestar Runner has done, either; wasn't DaVinci's Notebook involved in making "The Ballad of the Sneak"?

Was TMBG's appearance on Home Movies (back months ago) any good at all?
I respect their willingness to collaborate with amusing people, but Home movies is often kind of dubious. From what I recall.

I do not know, but this is only the second time I've heard of DaVinci's Notebook, the first being where they apparently collaborated with Moxy Fruvous on a cover of "Shoehorn with Teeth" that I found on KaZaA a while ago.

I had downloaded that episode of Home Movies (which had been captured and made available via BT, though that show is not, to my knowledge, routinely capped), but I could never bring myself to watch it because Home Movies' particular brand of deadpan bores me when I'm at home in short-attention-span mode.

I'm not sure if I haven't deleted it though. But I do know I didn't even watch the TMBG part, except for the short clip that TMBG had on their official site. I didn't find it notable.
