Play count is greater than [some number, choose to taste];
Limit to [some other number] chosen by least recently played;
Update live.

The lower limit keeps off the stuff that you really don't like all that much. (Why is it even in your collection? Because you have an obsessive streak about this and your iPod is not yet full. Or you once liked it and think you might like it again under some conditions not currently obtaining, though, frankly, with that Peter Gabriel double live set this argument is getting more and more dubious. Let's be honest here.)

Since, as detailed in my last couple of posts, I've become fond of automatic music selection based on past play data, I get annoyed that the songs don't get any credit in the database when I listen to CDs in my car.

Of course, if they did, the obsessively high counts for everything on They Might Be Giants' last three albums, all of which were commute favorites, would start to look a little weird. Right now my burned omnibus CD of The Spine/The Spine Surfs Alone/Indestructible Object is still getting huge drive-time rotation.
