Cassini science
Feb. 25th, 2005 12:52 amThe Cassini imaging team just put out a bunch of scientific papers, concerning the discovery of new ringlets and lots of weird phenonena in the early pictures of Saturn's rings, and other things.
They're now saying that they're sure the tiny, newly discovered moon Polydeuces is the trailing Trojan co-orbital of Dione, which was previously known only to have a leading one (Helene). Tethys has been known to have two for some time (Telesto and Calypso).
