The sound of your voice

Listening to recordings of one's own voice and hearing how others hear it is, of course, always disconcerting. Normally, when you hear your own voice, there's bone conduction, which affects the tone. Maybe more importantly, your brain's more intent on saying things than on listening to them, so you're not likely to notice all the ums and ahs and odd pauses, and you're also probably editing out the sound of your own breathing, laughing at your own jokes, etc.
In my case (as I kept being reminded while working on "Chicken Heart", exacerbated there by the fact that I was sort of doing a silly character voice) my voice sounds more high-pitched and gnome-like in reality than it does to me, and the sound of my breathing is incredibly strong and pervy-sounding on any microphone recording.
What annoys you about your voice?
