Plague spot
Dec. 16th, 2006 11:19 amFeel kicked in the head, which is probably mostly the pills talking. Gulping down Chinese medicinal tea of unquantitatively specified composition, which seems to help a little.
Yes, I got the Thing, the Thing That Is Going Around. It's not as bad as the flu but way worse than a normal cold. It's bad enough that everyone who gets it becomes pretty completely incapacitated for about a day, which of course happens after that person has spent days moving about and working and spreading virus particles everywhere. Sam had to take the baby and go to the guest room last night, I was making so much noise with my coughing. I probably should have gone instead but was feeling too miserable to have any consideration for my own wife and child.
What I dread, though, is what happens when Sam and Jorie get it. Which they will. Merry Christmas everybody.
