The show must go on
Dec. 30th, 2008 10:11 pmSo, we're apparently in for a winter storm tomorrow, followed by (for these parts) frigid temperatures. I guess it's a common enough situation for First Night; a slight complication is that I am performing this year, and I have to get from Haverhill to the Orpheum in the thick of the storm earlier in the day and be on time for our only on-site rehearsal opportunity. Here's hoping the MBTA holds up, because I ain't driving tomorrow.
If you are in or near Boston and mulling over your evening entertainment options for tomorrow in the 7:30-9 PM timeframe, please be advised that we are performing indoors in a warm place that is very near a subway station (several, actually--the Orpheum's smack in the middle of downtown across the street from Park Street Station and around the corner from Downtown Crossing). Also we are good. Last night's rehearsal gave me a lot of confidence about the show--now I'm mostly worrying about getting there.
