High speed and firearms
Feb. 22nd, 2010 12:24 amSam is a big figure-skating fan, and naturally we've been watching the Olympics on TV with Jorie.
Jorie isn't too fond of figure skating, though. She keeps demanding that we switch away from it (with her modern child's confidence in the ubiquity of DVR). Her favorite Winter Olympic sport is the biathlon. Something about slogging through a wintry landscape with a rifle on one's back and stopping to shoot targets appeals to her. She wants to pretend-play "skiing and shooting" all the time now.
Her second favorite? Skeleton. We had to watch the women's skeleton finals twice.
