Here's a long, sensible-sounding article on those people in Turkey who walk on all fours. For some reason, I'm always fascinated when real science collides with publicity and nonsense in this way.

And: The author also notes the similarities with the "little people in Indonesia" media circus, and links to a Scientific American blog post bringing us up to date on that story. He's got a whole series of posts on the "hobbits", giving more attention than we initially heard to the theory that these are just some sort of microcephalic dwarf humans.
