Lovely parting gifts 2: the happy ending
May. 21st, 2006 04:44 pmSam found that envelope a few days later, and I mailed it in, not expecting much. But we just got back from visiting family in Pennsylvania, and I found a mysterious large package upon returning, which turned out to be full of lovely anodized cookware! For free!

Of course, these are the kind of yuppie pots and pans that you must not wash in the dishwasher, store nested in the cupboard, use at too high a temperature, taunt or look at, lest it damage the highly important surface coating and void the warranty.
But at least the phone robot is probably not going to call any more.
