Why Xjournal crashes all the time for some people and not for others

It's wildly unstable only on dual-processor machines, which the author doesn't have. So the world can get an upgrade for the low, low price of a dual-processor Macintosh for [livejournal.com profile] fraserspeirs.

The crashes seem to be associated with slow server interactions.
