Oh, dear: in Ozma of Oz, Dorothy is back, but now she talks in cutesy fractured kid-speak like a Family Circus character. I can see why MGM wanted Shirley Temple for the part; she seems a logical choice. A bit too sugary for my blood, though...

By the way, samantha2074 my dear, the hen's name was Billina.

I was in a musical version of Ozma of Oz one summer during elementary school in which half the cast persisted in calling the chicken "Billerica."
