Reading about Disney parks inevitably exposes you to a million rumors about what Disney is going to do next. They come up with a lot of plans that don't get funded, so they're worth being skeptical about. But rumors seem to be currently flying that the Tomorrowland Speedway is not long for this world. It's actually a fairly popular ride, because it's an irresistible magnet for kids, but it's just not very distinctive (even little parks like Canobie Lake and Story Land have similar rides) and it takes up a lot of space that they could use for something you can't get elsewhere.

The most popular rumor is that some version of Shanghai Disneyland's mind-boggling TRON Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster is going there. But some claim that it'd be some other TRON-themed ride, not a coaster.
