How many events per hour? Mine were 50, which is pretty bad. Kim's and my test were far less invasive, just tape a sensor to our chest and wear a wristband.
My worst side effect was ingrown nose hairs that kept getting infected (this after moving from the nose mask to the nostrils pillows; the former made my nose sore at the contact points). I eventually had to ask the doctor for something stronger than Neosporin.
Kim does a nasal saline flush every other night to avoid the congestion. She also took months to get used to it.
