...The problem with the sleep study for me was that it was such a ramshackle collection of tubes and wires; I was constantly worried that I was going to dislodge something, even though I'd tried to tape some of it in place. With the CPAP mask I don't have that worry, though the hose sometimes gets caught on other things when I move (it's got a sort of coil around it to make it stronger, and that makes it effectively corrugated).
