...I found one source that describes the drop as "over 50 feet", but I have no idea how authoritative that is. That would make it comparable to the drop on Splash Mountain/Tiana's or Hersheypark's Coal Cracker flume, but shorter than, say, Canobie's Yankee Cannonball. It's interesting comparing reviews of Disney rides to reviews by roller-coaster enthusiasts, because you have people commenting who are absolutely not thrill-ride freaks and find even quite small drops and mild forces terrifying. And that's really who you want commenting on these rides, because they're for families. What's mild for one person can be overwhelming for another.
