With the CSS-based styles, all you need to do to override the appearance of things is to construct your own additional STYLE element in GLOBAL_HEAD. It's a bit of a kludge but it works (as long as you know a little CSS, but in my opinion that's easier than figuring out the HTML element templates that will work with your layout).

I like the look of "Magazine" in general, but wanted to take out or lighten most of the border lines. I am not a real graphic designer, but I know that real graphic designers don't like those.
