What a lovely new way to waste time.
People from Usenet and the world of blogs keep asking me why I don't blog. (My Web site has a sort of pseudo-blog on it, but it's really just a "what's new" list; it doesn't have archives or permalinks or anything.) Mostly it's because I haven't yet felt like making the effort to get set up somewhere-- my existing hosting setup doesn't make it trivial. But LiveJournal seems like a nice sort of training-wheels-blogging experience that even somebody as lazy as I can use.
I promise that this journal will never be dominated by boring political ranting unless I feel like it. If it goes on too long I give
samantha2074 permission to kick me.
The dryer is buzzing.
