The comments to that post contain some thoughtful objections to the over-the-top Texas-bashing. But they've got one hell of a screwed-up state government.
Well, there are a ton of good Texans. Look at Molly Ivins. And my ex-girlfriend lives there. And Austin is very liberal. And, and.
It is just too bad that the moron segment is the one that controls the government, by and large, and that a few evil rednecks still do things like drag a black man behind their truck.
