Traffic update

Well, I really don't know how bad the rush-hour traffic has been with I-93's closings and restrictions, because on Monday I came home early to miss the craziness, and yesterday and today I've been working until about 8 PM and it really doesn't matter. My impression is that it hasn't been anywhere near as bad as I feared; people generally got the memo that 93 inbound is closed to through traffic, they're not even letting people on from 95, and by the time I get there, at least, things are running pretty smoothly. I'd originally planned on essentially spending the entire week at home, but that's clearly not necessary.
Oh, and there are police EVERYWHERE.
Meanwhile, I hear that there's been some excellent trying-to-get-invited-to-parties activity downtown, and the National Review take on the speakers has shifted out of necessity from from Look How Crazy! to They're Stealing Our Lack Of Craziness! I think I remember that line from somewhere about 12 years ago.
