Following up on the previous discussion of past US presidents, here's Teddy Roosevelt's "Bull Moose" speech, which he delivered in Milwaukee right after he had been shot in the chest during his unsuccessful Progressive Party run for president in 1912 (his prepared speech apparently slowed the bullet enough to save him). Probably one of the greatest moments of extemporaneous political theater in American history.

went to the bookstore today to try to find a biography on him, but to no avail.
