Chicken Heart returns!

Fans of old-time radio, things that scare Bill Cosby, and giant mutant organs rejoice!

I'm going to be performing at Arisia in the Post-Meridian Radio Players' production of the 1930s radio drama Chicken Heart, directed by audioboy and also featuring such luminaries as derspatchel and samantha2074, reprising my unforgettable role as the Panicky Lab Assistant. Showtime is at 2:00 PM on Sunday, with panel to follow.

I'm probably going to be around on Saturday as well, though plans are up in the air...

Hiding things

Aha: I have been given to understand that you actually can hide all the controls and sidebars in Google Earth, with the stuff in the Tools menu (and their keyboard shortcuts). Unfortunately, you can't show the search field without showing the rest of the sidebar as well.

(I guess it's for the best: at 1600x1200 my wimpy olde-tyme video card is being pushed pretty hard, and Google Earthing at full screen will push it into the regime where it gets intermittent spasms of gray rectangles. It sure is pretty the rest of the time, though.)
