I've got bandwidth aplenty... is there any way you can get me the 4th and 5th? All of this starting college stuff has interrupted my enjoyment of this series.
I discovered the wonders of YouSendIt.com and uploaded it this evening, as a 172MB zipfile (all 5 of them, actually-- because a friend missed them all).
Link good for the next 7 days, and the link doesn't start the download automagically. Another good thing about yousendit.com is that both sender and recipient get the download link, and it doesn't seem to care how many people download it how many times. (Yet, I suppose.)
I wish there wasn't that big audio glitch in the last movement of the Eroica (at least every time I downloaded it), but no use crying over spilt milk. The last movement's the weakest one anyway; not bad, but it doesn't quite bear the weight of the other three. That's very unusual for Beethoven, really; he liked his big finishes.
I'm pretty ignorant of Beethoven and classical movements in general-- what's the Eroica, and when's the glitch? Depending on what happened, it might be partly fixable.
The Third Symphony. It's near the beginning of the fourth movement; sounds like sort of a loud click. But it might be an artifact of the particular software I used to play back the BBC's MP3. I don't think it was my download from their site, because I did it twice.
