I did the color correction after the fact; the camera was set on auto white balance, and there was a significant yellow cast (the light bulb was actually a compact fluorescent with a bluer equivalent color temperature than most incandescents, but the lampshade and so forth tended to make the light yellower).
I could probably have saved that step by fiddling with the white balance setting beforehand, but usually I don't bother. For one thing, experience has taught me that I tend to forget I've reset it and end up with far more bizarre color casts on photos I take later.
