Smiling Jorie

Marjorie is five weeks old and smiling a lot more these days; it's finally obvious to all that these are genuine smiles and not the gassy kind. Though you can't tell, these were taken at the new house.

Note: I've learned that some people are having trouble printing these pictures, probably because they're saving off the small versions that appear on my journal and trying to print those. Don't do that; it will look bad.

The pictures are clickable links that usually go to the Scrapbook page for the image, which will give you a larger version. You can then click on that to get an even larger version that is the form in which I originally uploaded the image. That is the version that is best for printing. (Well, actually the private version I have on my own computer is even better than that, but I usually don't upload them at full size.)

She has amazing eyes. Really dark and serious. And I love her little rainbow outfit. You guys cooked up one cute kid!

I've been assuming that her eye color is just that dark blue that many babies have until they're several months old, regardless of what it eventually turns out to be. It's a beautiful color, but Sam's eyes and mine are both a lighter gray-blue.
