I don't seem to have that problem. I have run into menus like that, but this one doesn't seem to have that problem for me.
As for Poot, well, i mock his inability to find it. I went looking for "Recent" and found it under "Journal", which seems perfectly reasonable.
So i don't think the usability is problematic. SO THERE.
