Every baby should know some quilters

Jorie on a lovely quilted play mat by my ex-co-worker's wife Vickie Hill:





We have three of these made in very different styles, one from my mother, one from Vickie and one from my aunt Bonnie Fredmund. Initially I thought this was a surplus, but in fact it helps to have as many as possible.

She's so cute! And she has grown so much already.

Oh, and the quilt is very nice. It's just a little upstaged by the adorable baby.

But she still has very little hair. Which is very much like both me at that age, and her cousin Greta.

That is indeed a gorgeous quilt and like me the maker believes babies prefer bright colors over pastels.
And yes, every baby should know a quilter. I've got two baby quilts to make by Jan.
