I hope they've got something from the Yoshiwara sequence. Of course, what I've got in my head for that is pretty much lifted from Blade Runner but I've always wondered what Fritz lang would have done with a futuristic brothel/drug scene.
It looks like they've found either all or almost all of the missing material. There was about half an hour missing, and they've found somewhere around 25 minutes. From the way they're talking, it sounds like they consider the movie complete now...
Yes, you know the fun thing? I got a copy of the Kino restoration back when it first appeared, but when I moved to the Bay Area my mother glommed a bunch of my favorite DVDs. So there were these big holes in my DVD collection that I gradually set about filling.
I had put off replacing it for four years, since it's not that cheap a release. Finally, less than a week ago, I took the initiative and ordered a new copy.

Well, I guess I don't mind buying it a third time. It'll be interesting to compare with the earlier restoration. What they did with the intertitles is pretty genius.
And DVD/Blu-Ray info here (http://www.thedigitalbits.com/#mytwocents). The already-scheduled 2009 special edition is going to come out as scheduled -- with the new footage. So there we are, then.
