Demolition of the Lincoln Park Comet

On Wednesday, this long-dormant roller coaster finally came down:

The park was long-defunct, the lift hill had collapsed in 2005, and it was obviously never coming back. Still, it's sad seeing one of these go away. That's a nice fan site with lots of photos from intrepid ghost-park explorers.
