Now, while being crappy in the name of cleverness is usually bad, School of Rock is living proof that you can take a seemingly guaranteed bomb of a concept and make it great by mastering the execution. Can you imagine what John Hughes would have made of that movie? I shudder to think of it.

School of Rock should have been too damn precious for my tastes, but I still enjoyed it despite the preciousness.
