Snow removal

We got a lot of snow over the weekend. In order to start moving it around, I had to get out of the house by the sliding rear door and crawl through three- and four-foot snowdrifts to get to the front door and the snow shovel. After much making of large piles, Sam and I managed to clear some paths and get one car free. There is more shoveling ahead.

NPR was reporting that much snow, but I was listening on my clock radio on a day I didn't actually have to get up with the alarm, so I didn't believe NPR one bit, nossir. Then I spent the rest of the day in a news blackout, watching a bunch of MacGyver I had downloaded. Naturally, when I found out there really was that much snow, the most bizarre improvised solutions were suggested by my MacGyverfied brain.

I was thinking of moving to Boston now that I graduated, but maybe I'll stay in sunny Austin where it's about 70 degrees F right now. :)
