OK, one specific one: I took a moral philosophy quiz that said I was an Epicurean. Sounds about right. At least I read Lucretius's De Rerum Naturum many years ago and thought the guy was pretty sane compared to most of the philosophers I've read. Not that I've read many.
My favorite bit in Lucretius was the part where he's talking about why the moon has phases. He lists a whole bunch of explanations proposed by different people, and, if I recall correctly, one of them is actually the correct explanation. And then after that he says that there's just not enough evidence to say for sure, so he's not going to pick one. I greatly admired that.
