samantha2074 at least semi-seriously proposed going to the midnight premiere of Return of the King. I vetoed the idea and now feel like a weenie spoilsport, all the more so because she was pretty much sure I'd react that way.

But I think a three-and-a-half-hour movie beginning in the middle of the night, in my current condition and on a Tuesday night, would probably destroy my mind for the rest of the week, which is not something I need right now. It's been a couple of years; I can wait a little while longer to get to Mount Doom.
