Capsule music criticism from an idiot

Okay, we're a couple years past hipster mania for the White Stripes and even so far past the inevitable anti-White Stripes backlash that it was actually mentioned in the remake of Freaky Friday. But with the passage of time comes wisdom, and after approximately 30 minutes of research from primary sources I can straighten out the whole confusing situation.

White Stripes rocking very hard = good, if limited in scope.

White Stripes doing slow ballads = not so good.

White Stripes trying to get by on whimsy and wit = OH GOD IT BURNS STOP IT ALREADY.

You may now stop listening to music forever.
