You can tell.

Because I am posting in many one-sentence paragraphs.

This indicates the gravity of what I am saying.

And that means that you, the reader, should think carefully about them.

And reconsider your own values.

Especially when the paragraphs are sentence fragments.

Because sentence fragments are particularly serious.

And when the fragments.

Become particularly short.

This means.

That you.

Should print out this post.

And send it to Ann Landers.

To inspire the world.

Think about it, won't you?

This is *exactly* like I remember USENET.

Erm, when did interesting people like yourselves get LJs? When I joined up, it was bozos who turned me off the whole LJ thing forever. But I'm back, so I'll Paypal you all $1000.

I got an account early this month. Various people, particularly Combustible Boy and Andy Northrup and Sam aka [livejournal.com profile] samantha2074, had been urging me to set up some sort of blog, so I was already thinking about doing so in some cheap-and-dirty manner. Sam already had a LiveJournal account, mostly, I think, because she had gotten involved with the collection of Doctor Who fans here. She pulled in her sister [livejournal.com profile] darkphonics, so then there was a little community of two people who would be an instant local audience. It was only after I got in that I discovered some other a.r.k people already here.
